I need in contact with someone in management right away. I witnessed a driver assault someone while driving a classy cap vehicle and the cops needed to be called. Makes me very concerned for any woman using classy can who even slightly frustrates this gentleman. From what I heard that day this was not the first time this man has had a confrontation.

Exceptionally friendly drivers willing to explain fare charges and if you are a regular customer, the drivers will arrange to consistently pick you up on time to get you to your destination via the quickest route to save you money.

Critical: Professionalism Dangerous drivers. When dispatch was contacted to report dangerous driving, the manager screamed at ME over the phone. Was not aware of PA traffic laws.

First of all, the driver I had was great. He was both friendly and a responsible driver. There was an issue with the billing on the vendor's side when I was dropped off, and he was unable to print a receipt for me. Since I was travelling for work; I asked him to email a receipt to me. A few weeks later, when I was reconciling my expenses for work, I realized that I never received an emailed receipt.

No big deal. People get busy and forget things, so I called up the number for classy cab to ask for a receipt. I'm so grateful that the employee I spoke with took the time to point out that it was mainly my fault for not catching this sooner. I should have been watching my email, waiting for the receipt to come through and called the very next day when I didn't see it.

The next time I use classy cab, I will be sure to do that. I spent $45 getting to the airport on a Lyft and over $90 getting back home in a Classy Cab. I'm assuming the extra expense is required to offset the hourly rate of the lifecoach I spoke with on the phone. Not only did I get a cab ride, but now I'm a better person.

I had the horrible misfortune of breaking down on the highway. Lost, alone and scared, I googled cabs near me and the stroke of luck that found this driver for me is something I will never forget. He came out to the highway and sat with me while I tried to make arrangements for a towing company. I had no cash and this wonderful man took me to an ATM so that I could pay him. Thank you so very much for helping me and making a horrible experience a little more bearable!

Classy Cab is a Very Good company I've leased a Cab since 2005 I've seen review of not showing up just note we take the order we pickup all trips and please understand this is Covid time whereas not many drivers working Best to schedule little earlier and whenever you get a cab take their number to get direct contact. I travel 15 minutes just to take someone few Miles this company cares

They allow there drivers to smoke in the cabs for this reason I would give them a zero start rating but you can't.

They treat there clients better then I have ever seen in a taxi before also beings that my service coordinator scheduled the trips I've gone on with them my insurance paid and normally that means I can take my cart and fill that and that's all. They let me get all I needed in one trip. They said that they were not picky. Rashe was my driver who took me to the store.

The man who took me to two appointments he made sure I got there on time. How he did it with the close call between the two was amazing. They are amazing. They also passed NO judgement on my disabilities and was very understanding. You could not find a better company. Thank you classy cab

Critical: Professionalism I called and asked if they had service in Butler PA. The guy was talking very low. I couldn't hear him. I asked if he could speak louder. My gosh he screamed at me " we don't have service in Butler goodbye" yes he screamed at me then hung up on me! Not good service

I had a round trip medical transportation scheduled through my medical insurance for today, 6/24/2019 for 11:00AM. This was a very important Doctors appointment. I can only make a reservation through my medical insurance company. I have no direct contact with Classy Cab. When I called at 11:10AM to find out where my ride was, the insurance representative told me that the transportation reservation was cancelled on Saturday.

I made no such call to cancel transportation. These people are idiots. They made this up. Possibly they mixed someone else with me. None the less I never made my doctors appointment. DANGER-AVOID-THESE PEOPLE DON'T CARE-A FOLLOW UP CALL WOULD HAVE ELIMINATED TO PROBLEM. INSURANCE HAS NO RECORD OF A CALL IN TO CANCEL.

I'd post negative stars, but there are none available. I was assured by a staff person at the hospital in center city Pittsburgh that these guys show up quickly. Uh.maybe they have before, but not this time.still waiting.and waiting.and waiting.and. FORGET IT! I finally had to call my landlady to get me. I guess I'll just pay HER the 75 bucks. After all what good is a ride service that never shows up?!

Had a Classycab car cut into a funeral procession. nearly causing the cars to crash behind him. To add insult to injury he put his window down and flipped the procession off. Well. How classy. Not.

This cab service is so unreliable and their cabs are not safe! The drivers hang out at the airport to wait on fare's because as the one driver told me they get paid more money for those fares!

My son order a car to be pick up at 7:00 it's 7:58and car just picked him up he had to move his dinner reservations back just to get a ride to the resultant he's planning on getting engaged and now he's upset not the way he wanted to start this day- why does this company take reservations and not honor them- do everyone a favor and just call yourself yellow cab 2

As I write this review there are 3 cars available and it is unbelievable that non of them wanted to take me home. I'm in front of the Fairmont, downtown. After a long day of shopping I decided to take a cab instead of walking home with all my big and heavy bags. When I went and approached the cab drivers to ask who could give me a ride and told them the address one of them replied "I'm not going to move for such a short drive, take the bus" in a very rude manner.

I really couldn't believe it! This insident happend at 2:45pm and right know is 3:23pm I'm still here waiting for the bus and he has not move from there. His ignorant self would've made at least an extra $20 more today because he would've been back from taking me home. And this is not the first time this has happened. The only reason why I gave this cab service a star is because you have to at least give them a star to write the review.

Awful, completely unreliable. When pre-ordered taxi failed to arrive at the appointed time, I called them. "Car is on the way." 30 min later it never showed, attempted to call them, they picked up but immediately hung up on me.twice. Use this service totally at your own risk!

Quite simple review. Driver didn't show and hadn't even started the drive. No call no warning. I found out when I called at the time driver was supposed to arrive.

I called them and made a reservation for an airport ride i think 48 hours prior. I needed to go about 33-34 miles from my house to the airport. I calculated rates based on their website and the time I needed picked up 5:45am-- the whole ride would have been 75$. My ride came to 65$, no issues with lateness, or fares, Its very expensive as is everything I have paid for here in Pittsburgh service wise. (note PA has some interesting cab fare rates things they do).

My driver was polite and help and got the job done, I was a little nervous but in talking to her I learned cab drivers can kind of pick and choose which rides they pick up. So making a reservation is probably wise, this might explain why service is not as prompt without reservations. Though I know sadly things happen and we cannot all call ahead and make reservations.

Anything but classy! Called for a cab from Shadyside and was told one was on its way. 45 minutes into waiting after constant debates with myself over patience, I called to check the status of my car and was told by the dispatcher they would call when they arrive. I asked for an ETA to which her reply was, "I don't know, whenever a car ends up in your area." As a dispatcher isn't it your job to dispatch cars?

The kicker is they never called! Really horrible customer service. I had called another service and they at least had business sense enough to apologize and say they didn't have cars available until a few hours from when I needed one. On a whim I decided to see if my Uber app worked in Pittsburgh, and lo and behold car was there in 15 mins. Pittsburghers rejoice Uber will spare you from horrible cab services like "classy" cab.

I notice that the Yellow Cab company is now lobbying to prevent UBER and another ride service from entering the Pittsburgh market. How about instead of trying to prevent competition, you spend that time actually trying to provide a good product that people want? Maybe then you wouldn't have to worry about competing with a company that has cars with a pink mustache.

We have one out of 4 good experiences with Classy Cab. The worst and most stressful. We were scheduled to be downtown to take the Mega Bus. CC was 15 min late. I called. Instead of telling me they would not get to us on time (integrity) so that we would not miss our connection, they said they would be there in 5 minutes. We called ever 10 minutes until be were literally 15 minutes before schedule departure.

We were going to a family affair and we were standing outside in the cold with our suitcases. It was the last of honesty and the lack of compassion on the part of Classy Cab that was so disturbing. Anything but Classy I guarantee. And then, dispatch told us the owner would call. OF course he did not. NEVER AGAIN.

Yesterday - I was stranded without a ride home after a car accident at a gas station. It was really late and the tow truck service was nice enough to give me the Yellow Cab phone number. I requested a cab and 2 hours later, I still did not get picked up nor a phone call. Someone at the gas station mentioned giving Classy Cab a call and so I did. After 45 minutes - I not only got 2 phone calls back (1 from the dispatcher and 1 from the actual driver) letting me know someone was en route to pick me up but the driver was very nice. I am SO grateful and thankful that good, helpful people exist and I will be spreading the good word about Classy Cab. Thank you so much!

I called the day before to schedule a 6:30am cab for the next day to the airport. "No problem", they say, "See you tomorrow!" At 6:40am the next day, no one arrived. I called and they said that they had me on the schedule for the following week and couldn't get anyone to me for at least an hour. What? I ended up taking the bus to the airport. I actually missed my flight because of these jokers. I hate classy cab!

If I could give Classy Cab a 10 star rating I would. We have been using them for a year now. Prompt, nice, and clean. Being from out of state we did not know what to expect. We were not disappointed. They have always been accommodating for us. Tony and his son are the greatest! I will recommend them to everyone we know in the Pittsburgh area.

I have so far had two experiences with them. The first was 2 weeks ago to go to the airport in the morning. The guy was running 10 minutes late and called to let me know. He was friendly and the cab was very clean. This afternoon, I needed to go to the airport again, called an hour in advance. 15 minutes after they were supposed to pick me up I called and was told the driver was about to arrive. 15 minutes later a driver called and said he'd be there in 10 minutes. 40 minutes after my arranged pick up time a driver arrived from another cab company. Apparently Classy Cab had not had available drivers and hadn't felt like mentioning it.

Things started out alright, but fell apart quickly. The driver refused to listen to my instructions on how to take me to my apartment. In fact, he DELIBERATELY went the opposite way in an attempt to run up the fee. When I brought this up, he was completely silent and kept on driving. Knowing what he was doing, I told him to let me out. He did--he let me out on the middle of a bridge and refused to give me change for a 20 (though the fee was only 8). NEVER USE THEM. They are a shady operation.

Called friday for a cab to the airport at 6AM on saturday. Called back at 615 on saturday when no cab appeared. The car had broken down and was the "only driver on the road." Ended up driving to the airport myself. Fail. The dispatcher was nice about it, at least.

Luckily another wedding guest had this company's card so we could call them for the trip to the airport. The driver was punctual, friendly, and the price was reasonable. Patronize these guys instead of Yellow Cab or Supershuttle!
