DJ Limousines roots started in the musical instrument retail business dating back to 1953 through three generations of Farrow. Vehicle reservations require a cash or credit card security deposit for incidentals. 1/3 deposit is required to reserve a vehicle (minimum deposit of $250). Deposit is non-refundable 10 days prior to event. Any cancelations 7 days prior to event or less, full price of run is due. Company is not liable in the event of mechanical breakdown while on charter.

We rented a party bus to take us from Grand Rapids to Detroit this past weekend. Prior to booking, the customer service was good. I was able to negotiate the price for the group we had and booking was easy. On the day of, our driver was about 20 minutes later than the scheduled pickup time. Once we were on the bus and on the highway, we realized one window was cracked and was not sealed around the edges.
At one of the rest stops, I pointed this out to our driver, Scott. He said he would stop and get something to fix it. Because it was so cold, we ended up "fixing" it ourselves with what we had - Meijer bags and paper towels - to keep the cold air from coming in. Prior to doing this, everyone was freezing and it was almost unbearable. The other issue was that he did not have the main door latched all the way, so there was cold air from the front and back of the bus.
We were able to fix the window enough that allowed us all to be comfortable and still enjoy our time. Though he was late, we made it to where we needed to be in time. Everyone had a great time and Scott was very nice! It was just a little frustrating in the beginning because you are paying quite a bit of money for something.

Do not book with DJ limo. The worst company I've ever dealt with. I booked and prepaid in full a month before my event. I confirmed the week of with Scott. 20 minutes before scheduled pick up he called and told me he couldn't make it because of mechanical issues. I was understanding and assumed with their large fleet they'd send another vehicle. NOPE.
The entire day was ruined. In their large fleet they couldn't send another vehicle?!?! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. To make matters worse Scott never refunded me the $850 I paid in August as promised when he canceled. I had to dispute the charge with the credit card company. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company.

We decided, kind of last minute, to look for a limo/van to hire for my husbands birthday dinner/evening while vacationing in South Haven last week. We wound up hiring the "Karaoke Van" from DJ Specialists.and we couldn't have been happier. From start to finish, they kept us in the loop with plans, costs, timing etc. Scott was very thorough describing the van, how many it could hold comfortably, the price, the timing, etc. Roger, who was our driver, was excellent (and very patient with us too!).
We traveled from South Haven to Portage for our dinner, and then from Portage to Mendon to go to a line dancing bar. Then the final leg of the trip from Mendon back to South Haven. The entire evening took about 6-7 hours.and Roger was fantastic throughout!

DJ Limousines truly was a perfect experience. I rented a 14 passenger limo TWO days before my wedding, this past weekend. It was a last minute decision, to say the least. I called around to several places and they were the most affordable and the most accommodating. Our driver Tyler was very professional, polite and flexible. As with most wedding days, things weren't exactly on schedule, but he made sure to be available for anything we needed. He went above and beyond to make sure the wedding party, my bride and myself had a great time. This company is highly recommended!

If I could leave Zero stars I would. This company totally scammed us out of $650 dollars and will not reimburse me anything, even after breaking down and leaving my group and I stranded on the side of the expressway and having to have a passengers mom and sister get us home safely. They did not hold up their end of the deal to pick us up and drop us off.
My group also noticed antifreeze and several water bottles in the van (so clearly they were prepared for this to happen and knew this van was unsafe but still picked 8 of us up anyways). They are dishonest and no one should ever use them! I recently had a group of 19 adults have a nice "night-out" event which included the rental of the H2 hummer limousine through DJ specialists & Limousine. DJ S&L work with a variety of limo companies to book events so the actual limo came from a different company. On the whole, they did the job that was expected.

Very disappointed. Driver 20 mins late, didn't know exactly where we were going. Limo we had the seat was broken, basically sat on the floor. DVD didn't work. No ice or soda. Slammed on brakes so many times we about all threw up. Horrible. Never again. Look for an alternate choice; so cheap, but not worth it.
