First encounter with Carie in a few years. The call inquiry about pricing for a Limo ride to the airport was awful. Carie no longer provides Limo's (they contract it out to another vendor - and I had to get a call back if they're was even one available. Unbelievable - Carrie has not stretch limo's in their fleet! Also while waiting on the phone, I scrolled through the reviews - each of them date back to 2010 - 2012. Nothing current. Not good. Cost of SUV (vs a limo ride to airport) was at least twice the going rate for their competitors. Just an FYI

This outfit is top notch in service and customer care! I recently traveled to Indianapolis on Christmas day. The weather was warmer than usual and I took off my Burberry scarf and put in my purse. I discovered a week later that my scarf was missing and after searching everywhere, I discovered that I had left the scarf in my limo. After frantically calling Carey/Embarque, I was told that they had the scarf and I could pickup or they would mail to me. Turns out, I used them again to return to the airport the next week.

I called them and asked if they could give the scarf to my new driver and have them bring to me. Sure enough, he presented me with my scarf and I presented him with a big hug! Great job team! Dispatch was awesome and stayed on top of things! So happy!

A typical day at Carey Limousine is great if you hate any opportunity to advance in your career and don't want a positive work life balance. They expect you to give your life to them while making barely enough to survive. It feels like they intentionally make your life harder for no reason. Everything is a secret and there is no transparency. They have no loyalty to their staff and will drop you in a second- no matter what they say. They are liars. This place is waste of time. Avoid at all costs.

I can count on reliable service from Carey limo services. The rates are reasonable and I was always picked up promptly. The cars are clean and drivers are professional. Recently, lightning struck the ground at the Indianapolis airport and as a result the baggage handlers were not allowed to remove baggage from incoming airplanes. I was worried that the limo service would either leave me at the airport or charge extra since it was over a 2 hour wait until the baggage was released. To my surprise the limo driver waited and there was no extra charge. I will be using this service in the future for all my travels needs.

I love it when I have to travel for work, I love it even more when the car service I use makes sure to have pro-life talk radio on when I get in the car. Sure, the driver *eventually* turned it off but not until every passenger in the car gave each other weird looks, like "are we really listening to this right now"? Then he just switched the radio off. Like, y'all are listening to my antiquated, misogynistic, white male views on female reproductive rights or nothing at all. Dude was a good driver though, and got us to the airport safely and on time. I should have asked him to stop by planned parenthood, if there are any left that is.

I used Embarque which was part of Carey. I just got back from a long return trip from Asia. I was exhausted. The driver was no where to be found. There was no one at the Carey/Embarque kiosk to assist. Called help line. They said to wait at Enterprise car rental booth. I waited 20-25 minutes. Finally driver shows up. No apologies for being late. Then driver didn't pay attention to how many bags I had.

And I had to ask him to not forget one. Then the driver didn't know the way. I had to correct him twice. The car had more than 300,000 miles on it. Which is also a bit worrisome. If the driver is 20-25 minutes late and if the driver doesn't know the way. Then why am I using a limo service where we had an advance reservation? I will use a friend or taxi or Uber in future I will never use Embarque again. Never never never.

I recently booked a ride home from the airport with Embarque - a cost-effective car service with Carey. And what a horrible experience it is turning out to be. When booking the trip, they recommended I use Embarque because Carey no longer offers shared car services. So, I booked it and the ride and driver were great. However, the trouble started when I received the receipt.

It should have been around ~$60 with tip based on the quote I was given. However, they charged me over $215 and said I was in the car with the driver for over 3 hours even though I live 30 minutes from the airport. So, I call their customer service department hoping they can fix it and reimburse me. However, their customer service rep stated they needed to "investigate" my claims and would be in touch in a week. So disappointing! I will be sticking with Uber from now on.

Now called Embarque, this service was what was given to me on a recent business trip. Granted, I like to rent a car, and in 'murica, I call that freedom. This trip, I was put into the backseat, and driven around. I'm not upper class folk, I don't know what this all about. So I my service was from the airport to a hotel, and from a hotel back. Seems simple and straight forward, and it was.

We had a reservation, and I got to the airport, and found the counter in the rental center. They were staffed, no one else seemed to be. weird. and with a name and ID, I waited to be driven. About 15 minutes later, a smartly dressed gentleman found me and drove me right away. Okay, so that was great, my return trip meant me catching a ride at 3:30am.

I was worried, look at these reviews of people and less than desirable times. Behold, at 3:25am, there was a driver outside. I didn't hesitate to stay in the hotel, no chance drivers enter a lobby, so I went out there, and I was on my way. I got to the airport, and on time. So I had a good experience, with drivers that were on-time and helpful.

Carey was my car service of choice when I couldn't drive myself to the airport. You could get shared service for 40 dollars from Carmel and if no one else was going with you it was like a private car service. LOVED IT! Now! They changed to embarque and the wait time at the airport is RIDICULOUS! I'm currently at the airport waiting for the driver and it's been 30 minutes. I should have just taken a taxi home. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ANYMORE! It's completely not worth it.

I have used this service many times to and from the Indianapolis airport and it was easy and worked well. Now that Is not the case. They changed systems or something in September and now it is a miserable experience. Waiting on hold, changes to programs and people that don't seem willing to help. It went from one of my favorite services to use (even last minute) to a service I will likely never use again.

Had a great experience with these guys last night! Richard was punctual and courteous when I flew into Indy for a conference. Clean car. Pleasant conversations and I learned some home improvement tips! Very much recommend. I had the premium service with a Towncar. Can't wait to use them when I fly back to Colorado on Sunday.

Do not use unless you have plenty of extra time in your schedule. The first time I used them- wonderful. The last two times, drivers have been very late and cars overly crowded for the size. This particular ride, though I was assured the driver would be here in 5 minutes, I waited a half an hour, he missed my exit, and rather than simply turn around, drove PAST my hotel for an additional 25 min to drop the next person off.

Thus adding a round trip of an extra 50 min to my day. I missed a business meeting because of this. Lesson learned- next time I'll pay the extra $20 and take a cab- they're ready and waiting, efficient, and direct.

Waited in Marriott lobby 2 hours. They were supposed to be there to pick me up at 1:30. I was told to wait in lobby and driver would come in. Apparently when the driver finally showed up, he/she never came in. They waited by a tinted door with an obstructed view but failed to enter the lobby as stated by your representative. Of course I never saw the driver and begging getting antsy due to my upcoming flight. I eded up taking a taxi to the airport and wasting money. I never leave reviews, but this was ridiculous. The phone agent was terrible as well.

I use Carey Indiana on a regular basis at work to provide transportation to customers and employees. They're professional and provide us a corporate discount, and have great knowledge of our campus and the city. Their customer service is helpful if you have questions and suggests other companies locally if they're booked and unable to provide a car. I've only had this happen on two occasions; once when the request was at 4am, and the other when it was same day during rush hour. They have town cars, limos and buses to accommodate any size group.

Poor service and poor business etiquette. Managers refuse to call me back to resolve and issue. They were not on time to pick my friend up and she had to take a taxi. Keep trying to tell me they were there on time when clearly there was no one to be found. Still charged my card and will not call me back. What a joke company. And to think I was gonna use them a few days later again. Hah!

I used them for a "share-a-ride" at the indy airport No one was at counter when I arrived. Had to call the reservation #. Grumpy dispatcher said I'd have to wait 20 min. 35 minutes later driver arrived. Since no one was there to give me a "numbered sheet" driver seemed confused & had to go inside and talk to someone. 5 min later we start our trip.

When I made the reservation I was told I should be at my hotel with 45 - 60 minutes of arrival at the airport. I eventually arrived at my hotel over 130 minutes after I arrived at the check-in counter. A taxi would have completed the ride in less than 25- 30 minutes. Problems - A) Poorly set expectations by the reservations people, B) Not one personal along the way said "I'm sorry"., C) no-one at the airport to man the counter, D) driver drove the vehicle like it had two speeds - On & Off. Not fun. I'd recommend a different way to get from the airport to the hotel.

$17 to get me from the airport to downtown via a clean shuttle staffed with by a friendly driver.done! I booked a shuttle via phone just a day in advance, found the counter (by the rental cars) and made my way to the chairs to wait for my number to be called. I waited for about 20 minutes for the driver to arrive and shuffled my way to the shuttle with another passenger.

Just minutes later I paid via card, hopped off the shuttle and onto my final hotel destination. It's definitely a great value and staffed by friendly, informative folks!

I am rating the Shared Ride Airport Connection service. I was very impressed with this service. I called them while in the Denver airport (2.5 hour flight away) and arranged a ride share from the airport to the Castleton suburb. They have 24 hour service in the Airport. When I arrived at IND at 0300 hours, I proceeded to the pick-up area, checked in with the operator, and waited no more than 15 minutes before the driver lead me to the vehicle.

I shared a limousine, equipped with free bottled water, with 2 other people. The ride cost about $33, tip not included. Professional drivers, perfect price, and style, this company has it all.

This team saved the day. A cab ride from the airport to our hotel was $66. (!) The front desk clerk told us about Carey Limousines, and I called them to request my return ride - I requested a shared ride as I knew this would be less expensive (only $33!) It was fantastic. The reservations clerk was polite and helpful. The limo was on time, was spacious, and was clean! The driver was courteous and made my door-to-door experience a pleasure from start to finish. Wish Carey had a satellite office in DC!

I visited Indianapolis for the first time for a work related convention/conference and read Matt K's initial review prior to arriving. I made my reservation in advance, and upon arrival, made my way over to the "ground transportation center" at the airport. I was very impressed by the Carey Indiana operation. The woman at their counter was very courteous, welcomed me to Indianapolis, and efficiently processed my reservation.

She noted the fact that conference attendees got a $2 discount for the ride to the downtown hotels, and credited my credit card (since I had paid in advance). My limo driver was also friendly and efficient, and got me and my fellow riders all squared away and off we went. I was very happy with the service, the employees, and the very nice limo. I ended up using them on the return to the airport, and experienced the same results. The driver was early, very friendly and efficient, and got me there quickly and safely. Nothing like the airport shuttles I use in California, that's for sure!

Carey provided a no nonsense shuttle for our wedding guests. We were worried about timeliness and if they would get lost or anything because we heard horror stories from other friends' weddings. Well, no problem with Carey. They were easy to book as well. We called a few months in advance and were able to reserve a few of their shuttle vans (~23 seats).

We could cancel anytime up to about 48 hours, I think, which was nice in case we didn't get the RSVPs we expected. We were able to coordinate routes to bring the wedding party to the church, then have the shuttles return to the hotel to bring guests to church, then take everyone to the reception. There was no mileage restriction; you pay by the hour. Cost a little bit but made our guests experience smooth and hassle-free. Highly recommend.
