We began searching in February 2022 for transportation services in Chicago for our daughter's wedding weekend in May. We made several inquiries and the first company responding was Pontarelli Transportation. I worked with Michael Hani there and found him to be pleasant and well-informed, answering my many questions via telephone calls and e-mails.

We contracted for Pontarelli to provide transportation services to get our daughter's large wedding party and photographers from their hotel to various locations within the city for photo stops, before transporting them to their wedding venue. The process was seamless and their website had lots of good information for us. Michael assured us they would take good care of us and they did.

There were a few hiccups the week before the wedding but those issues were quickly resolved and our driver, David Locklear, arrived on time and was pleasant and professional. They were able to get photos and to the venue at the time that was requested. The 38-40 passenger vehicle was clean and quite roomy making for a comfortable ride. We wouldn't hesitate to use Pontarelli in the future if we have transportation needs in or around Chicago.

On 5/16/2022 the driver came and picked us up from the airport - we paid him in cash and added more gratuity. We have been asking for a receipt ever since, and at the beginning they said their person was sick and would send it to us the following day. Over 10 days have passed and even the lady who was very nice when we ordered the transportation is not answering our mails, and not sending a receipt!

On 5/17/2022 we had another driver pick us up and she was very late and left us at a wrong dropping point at the airport. And we nearly missed our plane. After writing a review with one star, I was called and did get a mail with a receipt.

This is the second time we've contracted Pontarelli for a family wedding in the last couple of years, and we continue to HIGHLY recommend their services. We have found their rates to be very competitive, their customer service/sales staff to be knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt, and the driver & security guard were awesome with the wedding party. They have become our first choice in Chicago for transporting large parties (in style!), and we could not recommend them enough.

We had a wedding and our bus service canceled on us, THE DAY OF! We called Pontareli with less than 5 hours notice. They were prompt, professional and were able to meet our request all for a great price! They were great!

We used Pontarelli to haul 27 friends from our hotel to a yacht excursion we had planned to celebrate my 40th birthday. Reservations were easy and every person I talked to was attentive and super fun and kind! They even called on a Sunday to finalize my reservation plans. The day-of, the owner, Cindy, called to personally wish me a happy birthday and to tell me she had been thinking about me and watching the weather (we were worried storms would ruin our yacht day!).

The shuttle was clean, modern and beautiful. Our driver David was professional and a true gentlemen. Everything was perfect and Pontarelli was the icing on the (birthday) cake! Thank you Cindy!

We used Pontarelli for a bunch of transportation throughout our wedding weekend. The experience wasn't a disaster, but it could have been much better. First, the actual booking process was pretty clunky - there was a ton of back and forth to ensure that we would actually have what we needed. There were several instances where we articulated what was needed, then the quotes / confirmations had the wrong number and type of buses included.

If we didn't take it upon ourselves to follow up and correct things, the day would not have gone smoothly. That said, we made it through that piece and the transportation generally operated smoothly, up until the final part of the night - the ride from the wedding venue to the after party. We had three buses to get guests from Theatre on the Lake to HighLine, a 15 minute trip.

Two of the three buses got completely lost, ending up on lower Wacker and taking 45 minutes to an hour to get there. I understand that mistakes happen, but this was literally their one job - to know the route and get to the destination. It was one of the only things that went wrong during the evening and it's unfortunate because it seems as if it could have been avoided with a bit more (or any) preparation.

Pontarelli has been extremely accommodating for our upcoming wedding weekend. We've received great customer service, fair prices, and flexible booking. They've been a pleasure to work with and would highly recommend for future brides & grooms. Service: Private tours

So glad we used Pontarelli for our October wedding transportation. It was one less thing to worry about during the day and i couldn't have been more impressed. The driver, David, was super professional and helpful and the bus we had was high quality and luxurious. We were able to effortlessly transport our guests from the church in Lakeview to Lincoln Park and then to the suburbs at the end of the night -couldn't have gone smoother. Great company with high quality vehicles and drivers. 5/5 would definitely recommend for a wedding.

We used Pontarelli for transportation this past weekend. The office staff was extremely helpful and responsive to our questions as we were working through the planning/quote process. The driver arrived on time and was courteous. We did have a mechanical issue with the bus but the staff at Pontarelli was quick to respond and went above and beyond to minimize disruption and ensure we were satisfied.

Hands down, one of the greatest transport companies I've had the pleasure of working with. Over the years I've worked with many companies and sometimes it can get really tedious and not transparent. Colleen over at Pontarelli has been an incredible guide, helping me find a wedding limo in my budget, with an all-inclusive quote including red carpet treatment and gratuity. It's so relaxing knowing that transportation is all settled and I can just enjoy the day, knowing that I'm going to have an awesome BMW driving me around. Pontarelli was timely in their responses as soon as we reached out for a quote. We primarily worked with Pauline. All in all, they were great. The good, their drivers are top notch, stellar, on time (always early), and extremely professional. All of their vehicles are top notch, clean, and look brand new. The only constructive notes we have were regarding the communication, and charges to our credit card.

Through the wedding process, the middle and end were a bit of a nightmare were the timely communication was lost - we had to reach out to other people, etc., but found out after the fact it was due to illness. Second, my dad's credit card got charged twice for charges that were mistakes. Make sure you watch your statements, and read the fine print on fees if you are x amount of minutes late to the transport vehicle. Also, we didn't get the champagne nor the "red carpet service" that was advertised and in our contract.

It wasn't a big deal in the big picture/scheme of things, but still, when you promise something, deliver. we didn't have security on the vehicles, but were told we would still receive the bottle of champagne - we never got it. Would we use them again? Yes? Were they fairly priced? Yes. Simply use with caution during the process, read the fine print, and watch your credit card statements.

And excellent company wonderful on-time service. If There is a special need it will be attended to and taken care of, Professional and knowledgeable drivers.

Have been recently working with Pauline for our upcoming wedding 7/7/18. The process has been super easy, the price is definitely reasonable, and the service has been great. They also have an app that I am looking forward to using on the wedding day to check the status of the vehicles. Will let you know how everything turns out!

Really great experience using this service. They send you a link for the drivers mapped location and a picture of the actual driver about 20 minutes before he gets there. Very cool! Great service. My driver knew the entire history and politics of Chicago.

We rented a charter bus for a company related event. The customer relations experience was phenomenal. Their staff was responsive, patient and professional. Coach was our driver and he was great. He was courteous and is a safe driver. I would use their service again.
