Van in Black

Van in Black provided transportation / shuttle service for my daughter's wedding weekend. It was a wonderful experience for all involved! Ryan and his crew are friendly, organized, professional; everything was spot-on.

I highly recommend going with Van in Black. Ryan was great both for when I initially booked - providing detailed information and options for stops, etc - and then also during the tour - giving us information about the wineries we went to as he drove us. He even took group photos with his professional camera so we could have nice quality pictures to document our trip! Van in black also planned our route and made the reservations.

The van itself was a lot of fun and a really cool experience for our bachelorette party. The time went by way too quickly, and it's safe to say it was the highlight of the weekend!

Asheville is awesome for a girls trip. Our driver, John was just as Awesome. John was very professional, punctual and the music was on point. We never had to wait on him. John assisted us getting on and off the Van with heels. On our last night out on the town. John was sure to encourage us to use up our paid time but the yawns overpowered us. Girls night out. REQUEST JOHN You will be safe, have loads of fun and not be disappointed!

We had a great experience using Van in Black! Terri was an amazing tour guide, and far surpassed our expectations. She was very professional and accommodating. She even went to pick food for us while we enjoyed a local winery. Brianna gave great recommendations for us, and was very prompt with anything we needed while booking our tour. Would recommend to any family member or friend! Will be booking another tour in the future.

Christine was incredible! She picked us up on time, was very personable and passionate. She took us to some incredible wineries and even went out of her way to recommend restaurants and places to stay next time we came back to experience even more wineries in North Carolina. On our way to the wineries she even talked about the area and was just a wonderful person to be around.

I was searching for a transportation company to take our corporate group on a winery tour. I came across Van in Black and it had all great ratings. Working with Ryan, he helped plan 3 different wineries with wine tastings, meeting the winemaker at one and dinner in the vineyard at the last winery. I was not on the tour, but everyone on the tour loved the wineries and had a great time!

He even recommended and assisted with helping us get to go lunches for the van on the way to the wineries. Ryan was very easy to work with and quick to respond to my questions and requests. He even took pictures of our group and shared them after the trip. I would highly recommend Van in Black! Everything about them is top notch!

I highly recommend Van in Black! We rented the 14 passenger van for a bachelorette party for a tour of the wineries in Hendersonville and Tryon. We had Frankie as our driver and he was awesome! Very prompt and accommodating throughout the day. I would love to have him again. Also, Ryan was awesome in the preparation of our day. He gave a list of wineries to try and then coordinated times for us to be there so the wineries were prepared for us! I can't wait to do it again!

We conducted a tour of vineyards around the Tryon and Hendersonville area of North Carolina. Instead of risking anyone having to drive, we added the services of Van in Black to pick us up and deliver us to all the places we wanted to go. One of the best decisions we made. We dropped off the worries when we got on the Van - which was state of the art and clean as whistle.

Our driver took us safely through the trip and also worked with us as we adjusted our times as things progressed. I would hire them again without hesitation. We hired Van in Black to drive us around the Black Mountain and Asheville areas for a bachelor party weekend (a Friday and Saturday) in July and it was the best decision we made for the entire trip. Ryan drove us all over the place, from our house to restaurants to breweries to a river float and even to the grocery store. He was always on time and willing to take us wherever we requested.

He was totally fine with a somewhat rowdy bachelor party crowd and provided a great contribution to our weekend. The Mercedes vans we rode around in were incredibly nice and perfect for our group of 14. They had great sound systems and really added style to our trip. I can't state enough how lucky we were to find Van in Black and have Ryan as our drive. I highly recommend for any transportation needs.

My wife and I, along with two other couples, decided to tour several (okay, actually 4) NC wineries last weekend (6/13/20). We asked one of the winery owners if he could recommend someone to drive us around for the day. Without hesitation, he recommended Ryan and his company, Van in Black.

Our experience with Van in Black was top-notch! We went on the Tryon Winery trail and Ryan's knowledge of the area, relationships with each winery (and willingness to be a stand in photographer all day for 8 ladies) was beyond wonderful service. Ryan is a class act and I recommend him and his business 100% He was on time to pick us up, provided easy transparent billing, had great communication throughout our adventures the entire day/night (little brother's bachelor weekend outing) and delivered top notch service the entire way! I would HIGHLY recommend him for any group larger than what can fit in a tiny car for transportation in and around Black Mountain and Asheville!

Just the convenience and time saved being able to ride together everywhere we went that Saturday (10 passengers) in addition to the camaraderie we were able to share during transit were worth every penny! From the first communication via email to the drop off at the end of the day, Ryan was excellent. Great communication, excellent transportation, and a wealth of knowledge on the area and activities. Ryan recommended three fantastic wineries in the Tryon area that we thoroughly enjoyed. He let us play our music in the van and provided a waterfall side trip.

I recently booked the Van in Black for a wine tour. Ryan, the owner went above and beyond accommodating our group. The Mercedes Van was clean and in very good condition. He responded in a very timely manner too all my inquiries. He comes prepared with a cooler with water, attachments for music. He is also very knowledgable about the various wineries in the area.

An added bonus feature is the professional camera he has taking pictures along the stops for everyone to have and download for free off his website.

A jacket and bracelet was left on the Van. Ryan went above and beyond to mail these back. Overall a great time and a great price. You will not be disappointed. I look forward to using the Van in Black again for other events.

Van in Black exceeded our expectations in every way. Ryan arrived early and had made our reservations ahead of time for the vineyards as we were a large group. He had music playlists at the ready, pillows and blankets in the van if we got chilly and waters (still AND sparkling) in a cooler. He even took pictures for us throughout the day, which were the best photos of the trip. I looked like a hero to my group for finding him. We all came from out of state and he provided a ton of information for us. We all highly recommend using Van in Black!

The Van In Black presented the perfect opportunity for an outing with friends. We were all able to ride together and take in the sights together. Not having to drive made the wineries even more enjoyable. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely do it again!

What an amazing day! Ryan was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable and polite. We had 8 ladies on the van (which was nice, clean and plenty of room) and he drove us safely from Rock Hill SC to 3 separate vineyards in NC. The minute we arrived home at the end of the day, we were already planning our next trip with him. Through the day, he took photos of us at each location with his professional camera and was very patient with us as we were wanting different photos. Hands down, an amazing day! We are looking forward to another adventure with Van in Black!!!
